Stevie “P” Petrohoy is a veteran blues guitarist and vocalist whose career spans nearly five decades. Originally from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, he picked up the guitar at age 11 and has dedicated his life to the blues ever since, developing a searing, soulful guitar style and powerful voice that have become his signature on stage.
Over the years, Stevie P. has shared stages with an impressive list of blues legends and national acts including Albert King, John Mayall, Robben Ford, Coco Montoya, Tommy Castro, Foghat, and 38 Special, among many others. His sound blends electric blues with Southern rock and classic blues influences, delivering high-energy performances rooted in tradition but driven by modern intensity.
Now based in Colorado, Stevie P. and his band, The Hard Road, bring their “rocking Southern blues with Colorado altitude” to stages across the region. Known for tight musicianship, driving grooves, and crowd-engaging shows, the band continues to be a strong presence in the Colorado blues and live-music scene.

Stevie “P” Petrohoy – Guitar and Vocals
Stevie “P” hails from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. A bluesman who began playing guitar at age 11 with a focus on the blues style. He has performed professionally for almost 50 years with a searing and soulful guitar style similar to Stevie Ray Vaughan and Joe Bonamassa.
His powerful vocal style has been compared to the legendary Joe Cocker, and as a true bluesman entertainer, he has shared the stage with many Blues legends such as Albert King, John Mayall, Robben Ford, Tommy Castro, Coco Montoya just to name but a few.
Kevin Crouch – Bass Guitar and Vocals
Kevin Crouch – slappin da bass. He is a coastal Virginia native and lifelong classic blues/rock lover. “If I can provide the bottom end rhythms that get folks rockin’ out, singing along, and forgetting about their problems for a while – then that is a very good night!”
Kevin’s addition was just as serendipitous as the very first time the group played and has been the perfect completion to the group.
Phil Kessler – Drums and Vocals
Phil Kessler is a steady drummer with an uncensored mouth. Keeping time and keeping the groove alive.
